Age 84, died at 4:10 a.m. Friday (July 2, 1982) in King's Daughters' Hospital where she had been a patient for a short time. She was born Dec. 22, 1897 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of James Dock and Lula Evaline (Beard) Moneymaker. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Miss Moneymaker was a licensed practical nurce and nursed in private homes in Charleston, WV, for approximately 60 years. She returned to the area five years ago. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Joseph L. Hammond of Rt. 5, Staunton, with whom she made her home; a half-brother, Lawrence E. Moneymaker of Waynesboro; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 5 p.m. Monday in New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas T. Biggs.
