C.O. Moneymaker, 84, of 1910 W. Beverley St. died Saturday afternoon (Dec. 15, 1979) at Liberty House Nursing Home, Harrisonburg. He was born May 29, 1895 in Rockbridge County, son of Pet and Emma (Clark) Moneymaker. He had retired from Basic-Witz Furniture Industries Inc. and was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ella Adkins of Staunton and Mrs. Clare Danahue of Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Roy F. and Charley Moneymaker of Augusta County; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hamrick Funeral Home by the Rev. C. Larry Frakes. Bural will be in Oak Lawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Keith Jackson, Carey D. Arehart, Leo Argenbright, Wilbur L. Strother, Carrol Siron and Elvin Garrett. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8 this evening.
